Geralt and Jaskier (Wiedzmin, 2002)

Just a regular afternoon with Geralt and Dandelion
(made by my awesome roommate and myself)

Dandelion |Zbigniew Zamachowski|
Right, he’s supposed to be old.
Oh, the casting in those series/movie >.<
Yeah, that’s a perfect depiction of a young lady-charmer, who was so handsome he was sometimes mistaken for an elf. Right…
He is handsome compared to most TW2 elves :P (seriously, all of them have super dumb faces)
Yeah, yeah, I see what you mean.
Well, elves in TW1 were not much better either. They might not be dumb-looking, but also not what I imagined them to look like. I guess devs wanted to make some recognizable look for ‘the witcher elves’ or something like that.
But I was talking more of the book description, where elves are considered far more attractive than any human being can ever be.
I’m not big fan of the game depiction of Dandi either (they had great concept of him, where he looked like young Jim Morrison, I wish they stick to that), but oh well. Still an improvement!

This really bothered me tbh. Okay, TW1 character models were limited by the engine, whatever. But TW2? The elves don’t look good at all, except for Iorveth who has a really interesting face. But of course they went out of their way to make all women look ~beautiful (or rather, copy-paste one pretty face and change it slightly). I call bullshit.
Yes, I’m still pressed.
Jim Morrison Dandy looked good! That wild hair, haha.

Some preliminary sketches from the Witcher short story The End of the World. Also, a NES Metal Gear password.
Dawner, here’s something you might like.

Here, have a picture of
not-IorvethI mean, Dandelion.
You are so very edgy, dh’oine.

It makes sense, of course! My mind is just derpy.
But how can he do it with faces of his friends glued around? ಠ_ಠ
Dandelion, you have no shame.
Dandelion would sleep with succubus on Geralt’s watch! What is this shame thou speakest of?
Is this a good moment to confess I really wanted Geralt to join in when I found Dandelion sprawled on that bed?
Another thing I liked in EE is how Iorveth’ and Geralt’s ‘wanted’ posters are used as celebrity posters in this brothel. Girls do like them some heroes!
I guess Saskia’s poster isn’t there because she is the Queen by then and it would be inappropriate to have her picture in such establishment.
I wonder, what’s instead of Iorveth’ poster on Roche path in this scene?
Fuck, is that a brothel? I figured it was Dandelion’s house in Vizima and that he just picked up the posters because he thought they were funny.
Well, I though it was brothel. Does Dandelion even have a house in Vizima? In the first game he was hanging out in the inn all the time. An in books he was a vagabond, just like Geralt, with no home of his own.
So I just assumed he must be in brothel in this scene. Because it’s Dandelion, where else could he be in his free time? It’s funny, how in games Geralt is bigger womanizer than him. In books it was vice versa.
It makes sense, of course! My mind is just derpy.
